Start Page ​

The Start Page app is a prototype designed to provide users with quick access to other apps on the platform, as well as external ACE products. With Start Page, users can access shortcuts to their favorite apps and external tools, streamlining their workflow and boosting productivity.

Application presentations ​

Accessible applications are grouped by their configured presentation and displayed in this order:

  1. Promoted applications use a full-width banner with the localized application description and one button for every configured instance entrance.
  2. External applications use the standard application-card layout.

The introductory hero banner is shown only when no promoted application is displayed. Applications without configured entrances are not displayed.

Applications without a presentation value default to External. Descriptions use the selected language when available, then English, and are omitted when neither exists. Entrance buttons use the entrance name, falling back to the application instance name and then the application name.

WARNING

For this app to function, it requires the Alliance Data backend.
Please note that this backend is exclusively accessible to developers from team Alliance.

How to install ​

  1. Install as developer dependency

    npm install -D @alliance/app-start-page --registry https://registry.webprovisions.io

  2. Add app to your Alliance configuration file.
